Red's factory-applied label clearly says that he is red, but despite the best efforts of his teacher, fellow crayons and art supplies, and family members, he cannot seem to do anything right until a new friend offers a fresh perspective.

Love it! submitted by Xris on August 5, 2019, 12:01am I love how the book explains how someone can be different inside, like transgender people are. It's also cute that the older the crayon is, the shorter it is. :)

I loved it submitted by AnnieKelly on July 10, 2022, 9:21am I love how it explains that some people might not feel like the thing they are told they are. There's one person that asks them to try something and it helps them feel better.
