COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Read it if you want to, or not submitted by ferdoble on August 2, 2011, 3:53pm There are some sympathetic characters in this, but overall its not a very great book. With so many other great teen series out there, I would have to say to give this one a miss.

The story was lively and interesting, and at the end i was on the edge of my seat, but there was something about it that I can't put my finger on. Something that made me want to move on to another book.

Good submitted by 04foremanh on July 29, 2012, 12:54pm This story was interesting and different

well submitted by unknown on August 2, 2013, 8:07pm This was basically my favorite book ever in sixth grade. I can still recite parts of it aloud, I read it so many times.

Great Book submitted by chloehyatt on July 31, 2015, 3:58pm This is a great book for anybody who likes actionful books

Amazing!! I highly recommend this book. submitted by Whirlywongpotatoey on April 19, 2017, 4:21pm Inkheart is one of my favorite books. It's well-written, more realistic than most fantasy books, and good for reading aloud. It made me appreciate books more. The characters are awesome, and the plot is interesting and exciting. I like how the author demonstrates the magic of books so well. This is a must-read for anyone who likes fantasy books!

Inkspell wasn't nearly as good, but it was not terrible either.

Creative idea submitted by gxtan on July 29, 2019, 12:00pm The premise behind the story and the plot itself are well done and suspenseful until the end, though I didn't really like any of the characters in particular. The exact logistics of the magical element of the book weren't fully developed and sometimes didn't seem consistent, but it's a kids book so l won't complain too much. Overall good fantasy book that's set in the real world and doesn't go over the top with magic/spells/wizards/elves/etc.

meh submitted by autumnmist on August 15, 2019, 6:09pm not my favorite. It wasnt bad or good

Inkheart submitted by jhaberich on June 15, 2020, 1:41pm Inkheart was a good book full of action and unexpected twists. Each character is very different. I think it is interesting how important a book is in this story, because most books are not a focus in a story. I really enjoyed reading this book, and look foward to reading the sequels.

Highly Reccomend submitted by pinkiepie2014 on July 6, 2020, 11:43am This is a great book and definitely a great start to the trilogy
